Portrait Retouching
Extra retouching hours are billed at $30 per half hour.
There are additional fees for negative or print scanning if the image is not already in a high resolution digital form.
If you require service of several images (more than 5), please contact me for an estimate.
Light Dusting….. $60
Up to 1.5 hours of basic digital retouch including:
- Correction of light acne
- Removal of spotting and dust
- A gentle romp through the fountain of youth
- Other light corrections as requested or needed
- $10 towards prints
Quick Straightening….. $150
Up to 3 hours of moderate digital retouch including the basic package, plus:
- Correction of moderate acne
- Correct or lessen glass glare
- A languid dip in the fountain of youth
- Other moderate corrections as requested or needed
- $15 towards prints
Clean-up Crew….. $270
Up to 5 hours of moderate digital retouch including the moderate package, plus:
- Correction of heavy acne or scarring
- Removal of glass glare
- A full scrub down in the fountain of youth
- Other heavy corrections as requested or needed
- $30 towards prints
Photo Reconstruction
Get those old, damaged prints and negatives cleaned up by a professional.
Our artist-in-residence will be glad to help you reconstruct your precious family heirlooms on a per estimate basis. Since every image is different and every sort of damage unique, estimates are required for all but the most basic of issues.
Restoration includes correction of:
- Water damage
- Rips, tears or wrinkles
- Fading or darkening
- Other types of damage as needed or requested
Additional Print Pricing
We use Kodak Supra Endura archival paper to print our photographs. Prints are available in your choice of glossy, matte, lustre or metallic finishes. We keep your shoot archived indefinitely so that additional prints are always available.
If you wish to purchase the high-resolution digital files for any shoot, the prices start at $350. Any purchase of these files include a limited use license that should more than meet any reproduction needs you might have.

WARNING! Crop Happens. 4×6 is full frame but 5×7, 8×10, and most other industry-standard size prints crop off pieces of the image. If you don’t want the image cropped or cut, then please ask for ‘full frame’ prints. However, you must bear in mind that without matting, these prints won’t fit a standard size frame.
Travel Policy
We are more than happy to come to you!
If you live more than 30 miles away from either our Independence or Kansas City, MO, offices, the rate is 50 cents per mile (each way). For instance, if you live 90 miles away, there is a $90 travel fee. If your shoot is more than 180 miles away please contact us for travel arrangements.
